The wet winter continued...

The amazing thing was, I discovered on 6th January, that our spring water was back with us again after 4 dry years (and much hauling of water) and makes many more things possible. We are growing lots of food and although we are so cool already, we'll be even cooler this summer!

Here's Shane (yep, she's back) and Jessica starting the outdoor bath plinth

The surrounding wall was finished by Christian and the bath is a success, so no more excuses for grubby volunteers now

Juliane finished the back of the shed with some beautiful plasterwork

And Melisse started a big project that should keep her out of mischief for some time

So... what happened during 2009 at the farm?

It snowed one day...

We drank tea quite a few times

We did strange things with tyres

And we became a very cool team

And then we did more strange things with tyres and ruined the whole cool thing

But nevertheless, the effect was pretty good in the end

and we experimented with bottles.

Then, we got ready for winter again!

Springtime 2009

So what have we been up to this year???
I have been working away in Malaga for most of it, but nevertheless the wwoofers have still accomplished some work and changes on the farm.
